Recommended mage setup for pre-providence. I am currently struggling as a mage after this most recent calamity update. Most of the recommended stuff on videos and the wiki is outdated and i am having trouble with progressing in my opinion. Dragonfolly rips through me and profaned guardians was a lot of trouble.
In addition, the fire blades have no hotbox when they are spawning or moving slowly. Save any adrenaline and rage for the guardians, and focus the healer. In Deathmode, about 3 seconds of live healer can give Providence almost half her health back. Play safe until you get her guardians, then FUCK on them with all you have.
What ranged weapon should I use to fight profaned guardian. My best weapon currently is the Prideful Hunter's Planar Ripper should I use something else?
