In general the trait is meh, but everything that comes. with the origin is amazing. Specialist pop output and reduced upkeep is really good, but no pop. Having a Migration Treaty with a Necrophage is basically like having one with a Xenophobic empire. Odds are that your pops will end up becoming Necro pops if they migrate to the other empire.
