Once agian, I'm not saying motor oil won't work, and the Polaris AGL may be very similar to motor oil. However, 5w-20 is in no way an adequate substitute for 80w-90 gear oil in a manual transmission that calls for 80w-90.A big job to replace. I like running ATF +4 in them. Dodge ATF. They are a big transfer case. You can use 30 HD oil too. Polaris rips you about $14 a qt for thier AGL oil for gear case oil.
