So I guess it also depends on what you're fighting. It's quite strong even without the Art if you're heavy in Faith. It regularly out damaged every other Greatsword I had with a STR/DEX/FAI of 30/30/50. Others came close and if you're going heavier into STR or DEX other greatswords will probably beat it damage-wise. I ran around with 3 or 4 different greatswords for different fights.

You can't change anything on the Bloodhound Fang since it has a unique ash of war. The best way to increase bleed on that weapon is using blood grease. Arcane only increases bleed on weapons with an arcane scaling, and since you can’t change bloodhounds fang’s affinity to give it arcane scaling, it’s bleed won’t go up with arcane level.It also heals you every time it hits.
