There are 3 parry shields as I know: Target Shield, Buckler and Small Leather Shield. Target Shield has the most physical protection. Small Leather Shield has lowest requirements. Parry dagger has the same window length as parry shields, but comes out as late as medium shields. Factoring in latency of opponents (when even predicting an attack with a caestus is dodgy) and the terrible stability of the dagger, it is like the worst of the non-shield parry tools and medium shields combined.
