Dad broke the starter clutch bolts on his Polaris RZR 1... towed ranger back to the house and checked the codes which showed 51 and 52. looked under the hood at the ECM and found that three of the wires had burnt out two on one connector and one on the other. You have to find out when your spark plug is firing if it is firing when its top dead center magneto key should be fine but if not firing top dead center you have problem. It's fuel injected and you can jump across the solenoid and it will turn over that way but it's not firing and I'm getting power to the solenoid when you turn the key but it won't turn over and I replaced the solenoid along with a programmable ecm that's a plug in play ecm. R. There is a brake line with the switch attached. 2 wires on top. To test to see if the switch is working depress the brake and see if the brake lights come on. If they do this is not your problem. If no brake lights you can jump across the 2 wires on the switch and rzr should start.
