Runningshoegeeks.

Hi r/RunningShoeGeeks!. I am curious if anyone has expertise in recommending a good shoe for a beginner heavier runner to be used on a treadmill and/or roads? I've seen good things online and in this sub about shoes like Brooks Ghost 15 and Saucony Kinvara 13 but not sure if that advice changes for those of us not in marathon shape.

Nike Infinity have arch support to help you through this phase. That helps the symptoms. You also need to address the cause: However, you absolutely have to do strength work on your arch and it will be boring and really slow. Think at least a few hours a week for months 3-5 probably. They should know that most daily runners are going to be burning 80-100 miles a month. 300 miles on a shoe would be considered risky by a lot of runners and even reckless by persons who are running longer distances than 3-5 miles a day. I generally get about 100-150 miles out of a pair of shoes before replacing them.Decent daily trainer, but quality is very bad. Razor 3+: This shoe has a very narrow toebox - too narrow for most. The HyperBurst foam in this one is actually soft and responsive (firmer than Rebel v2). It has no insole and therefore no arch support! Weird as Max Road and Ride has alot of arch support. 1.1. krb0325 Saucony Endorphin Speed, Ride 15, Kinvara 12, Nike Vaporfly 2 • 1 yr. ago. They transition very well due to being much lighter, and you notice a slight rocker sensation when on flat and downhill segments of the run. Think about the alphaflys, they're ugly, but you'll remeber seeing them for sure. If you mean the shape of midsole, the reason is weight saving and the World Athletics’ limit of 40mm in heel stack height. The heel is ~40mm but the stack height in the middle of the shoe is actually more. I tried it in June.Hi there! Thanks for sharing your experience with your running shoes on r/runningshoegeeks. AMediumSizedMonster • 6 mo. ago.Pretty much yes to both of your questions! I would like something with not so much stack height then something the invincible. I also have the NB Rebel v2 and Hoka Mach 4. Out of those two I’d use the Mach 4 as a daily trainer (different type of runs and workouts). Agree wouldn’t use the Invincibles for workout.

Saucony Triumph 20 which we reviewed recently is one of the lightest max-cushioned shoes. It is super comfortable, and yet versatile. Nike ZoomX Invincible 2 uses PEBX midsole. Our choice for best cushioned shoe is Saucony Triumph 20. It's a gimmick -- a beautiful and expensive gimmick. For running, the On "clouds" are very firm and stiff, and yet provide little energy return. Plus their pods just collect rocks and debris if you go off-road at all. It's a bit narrow and the upper isn't all that comfortable but I like it for short-and-fast workouts. The Boston 11 looks and feels like a big brother version of the Adios 7 and I'm starting to warm up to it. Again, the step-in feel isn't all that comfortable or inviting. There's no feeling of "plush" whatsoever.

This is RunningShoeGeeks. I hope when I buy a shoe it is going to give me an advantage compared to an average running shoe when I run. The Cloudmonster looked like it would do that but felt like an average shoe in nearly every way. That was upsetting when you put the retail price into perspective.
