I think that as long as it's a valid game and valid DRM and valid anticheat the server doesnt care what launcher it came from. Apparently, some Epic games will trigger the anti-cheat and ban your account if launched on the Steam Deck:

I feel so lucky to play these games once again with a handheld console. Brings back the old memories. I wish some of the recent games can also run at 60 FPS..
