With that said, I would maybe spend a little more money, and look for a used 566, 567, and you may not have to spend anymore money at all. I have a 535 JD round baler. can't seem to change the adjustment on the tensioner. old one was frozen up. Replaced it ($300) but steal no matter where I set the adjustment the bales won’t get any denser. The gauge is showing all the way lite. If I push down on the hydraulic leaver to close the gate the gauge shows a denser bale.

Our neighbor had a 510 and if the hay was perfect it worked but if a lil tough it was a handful. He ends up calling us to bale for him more then he gets his 510 to work.
