You aren't hitting 9 monkeys probably lol. AFAIK you need to pick up the bones and drop them (don't stack them on top of each other though) and another monkey will spawn from it. Do this to keep 9 targets. Gear wise, go for god vestments probably. Magic dmg>prayer>acc usually for bursting/barraging.
