Transportation- If you need transporation upon arriving to Cabo don't rely on the local taxis. Prearrange with the resort to have a driver or a car service pick you up. I'm saving you from the timeshare conversations you will have just to get a taxi.

To bring a car from British Columbia you have to have a valid registration which is tied to our ICBC insurance. You also have to buy Mexican insurance. You don't have to have a permit for California Baja Sur.Yes 3 days is too short but it is better than not at all. You will get a great flavor of Cabo in 3 days and will enjoy the sun. The shared shuttle from cabosanlucastours.net is $18 each to cabo one way. That is only $36 as opposed to $60 or $70 taxi ride. Then you can taxi it back which is much cheaper or take the shuttle round trip.

However, it was coming back in, and should be fine in Jan. My understanding is Pamilla will not re-open the course until March 2015.

Cabo has a much safer feel than Cancun, has a more laid back atmosphere, has really great restaurants, and a ton of fun bars that you don't have to be indoors for or pay a cover charge to get into like many in Cancun.
