Dec 6, 2022, 4:51 PM. Save. We’re considering doing a 4-day weekend at Tween Waters in January. The plan would be sit/walk on the beach, buy some stuff from the Island Store and eat our meals onsite. I have no interest in rubbernecking on Sanibel - those folks have enough problems without tourists clogging up things.

So, things are looking up. Coquina Beach is across the street and I saw tremendous progress there. Doc Ford's, where we had lunch, was doing very well. Lots of folks having lunch.
