Litter robot getting stuck mid cycle.
LitterRobot 4 stopped during the cycle, and reset not working. The robot works for three days. Now it is stuck in the middle of the cycle. And the light bar is a solid red. The reset button doesn't work. I pressed for 10 seconds waiting for it to flash white. And it turns red immediately.
Whisker sent a replacement for the first one after getting stuck mid cycle (upside down) but the new one is also having issues with detecting things that aren't there and just doing weird stuff. For example today we had a cat use it and over 3 hours later it was still waiting to cycle (supposed to cycle after 7 minutes). It’s a bit hard to add actual litter into the robot esp if you buy litter in 40 pound boxes, you need to scoop it in there. It’s also extremely sensitive to the amount of litter in there. You can not over fill or else it will get stuck mid cycle because it thinks a cat is interrupting the cycle so it pauses. Other than that its perfect to me.
