I have the mobile app and have a player placed as a KR but I never get the chance to do a kick return it always goes to the summary then I just play offense. Look in settings and make sure it’s turned on. D’oh have fun. I did the same thing. Options screen, Unlimited Version menu on right to change Kick Returns to On.

It's really annoying when you don't want to go for the 4th down since it is too long/you don't want to risk it, but the field goal is 60 yards and your kicker doesn't have a strong kick. This situation is a trap for Retro Bowl players and really annoying when you're stuck in it. You should have the option to punt every time in a 4th down situation. I've been playing on extreme for awhile now and it's still pretty easy . Here’s how I did it: I basically set up the game so I was down by 2 scores in the 4th quarter. Then I scored to make it a one possession game, at this point the game asked me if I wanted to onside kick instead of the normal “___ kicks off” after a touchdown.There is no punt returner. However, there is a kick returner for kickoffs you can select. You can select a RB, WR or DB. Go into your roster, select one of those players in one of those positions.
