Take-down lever is very hard to turn. I just got a new P320 Compact, on a whim; I saw a Gunbroker auction expiring in an hour and bought the gun for $490 with shipping. Plus, it came with 3 magazines instead of the 2 as stated in the auction. Sweet! Anyway, rotating the task-down lever clockwise is really hard.
Pushed the recoil spring assembly up , or in the opposite direction of the movement and the take down lever rotated as normal and the slide released. I removed the standard slide lock that caused the trouble and reinstalled the SAS slide lock. Put it all back together and everything is operating as should be.

I have three grip modules for my p320 XCarry: the XCarry grip it came with, an xcompact, and a subcompact (md. with rail). I can swap the xca and xco grips easily by hand, the takedown lever pops out without much effort at all.
