The pattent dates are Feb. 7. 1905 and Aug. 27. 1907 and the serial number on the underside of the tang is 696328 A.

The No. 620 was introduced in 1927, and manufactured into the 1950s. The J. Stevens Arms Co. serial number info is long gone and even the Savage Arms Corp. historian can't tell you.
